I am a mother of boy/girl twins, Cooper & Delaney. I am also the mother of two dogs: Bailey the puggle & Boscoe the bulldog. And a wife to Paul. (don’t want to forget that part!) Big animal lover. Oh, and I am a HUGE fan of P!nk. HUGE. You will catch on to that pretty quick.

I recently stopped working, as my contract was up. I am searching for another job, but while I do, I thought this would be a perfect time to start my blog.

When my contract ended at work, someone asked me if I was going to go back or just be “a full time mom.” I nearly jumped down his throat. ALL mommies are full time moms, whether you work outside the home or not. Let’s get that straight.

While I am highly opinionated and fiercely passionate about things, I want this to be an honest, open environment where people talk & share ideas without fear of judgement. We all have different thoughts & takes on everything, but while you are here, please be respectful to all. We need to always be kind & remember everyone is going through SOMETHING. We all have our own crosses to bear, and the best way to deal with others is through a compassionate & caring eye.

I am also a cancer survivor. In December 2011, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Level III malignant melanoma in my left shoulder. I was 24 years old and it was 5 months before my wedding. Thanks to Dr. Kirkwood & Dr. Edington at the Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, I am still here. And with my parents, husband (then fiance) & best friend Jeanie, I actually maintained sanity through it.
